You can go to Art Classes page. The list is noted in each class description.
Where can I get the art supplies if I don't have them?
Not to worry. You can get them on Amazon.com or any local art stores such as Michaels.
How do I sign up?
On our How It Works page and at the bottom of Art Classes page, we provided step-by-step process to sign up. Make sure to submit payment to reserve your space 1 day before the class.
What payment methods do you take?
Venmo (@Erna-Hohertz)
I live outside California (or outside USA), can I join the class?
Absolutely yes. You can live anywhere in the USA or even out of the country to join in, as long as you have the payment method we listed and have the computer with video and audio capabilites to join us. Lessons will be done in English language, at least for now.
My kid has no basic art skills, can he/she join the class?
Yes. There are some classes that are more suitable for beginners. Anyone can always challenge themselves to try something harder and outside their comfort zone. As long as your kid agrees to have positive attitude in learning, we welcome you to learn with us. You may need to assist your kid in class until he/she gets the hang of it. If you need to consult with our Art Instructor first, please email us at hello@bloomingacescc.com.
I have some art supplies at home but couldn't afford getting more supplies. What should I do?
We are flexible on the art supply requirements as long as you can accept the limitation that your kid will encounter during class. You can get creative with what you have on-hand, for example the paper types. We are focusing on learning the techniques and creative mindset. The proper materials will be more rewarding to your kid in getting the better results. However, we are being mindful in recommending supplies that don't break people's bank. Hope we answered your question.
I have specific art style request, and want to know if you will offer them in the future.
That's an excellent question. We are here taking your requests. If we can provide that art style properly, we will add it into our future list of classes. So, we'd love you to email us at hello@bloomingacescc.com with subject matter: ART STYLE REQUEST. Thank you.
My kid is older than the age group for the classes, can she join?
Yes, as long as your kid doesn't mind being with the younger kids and can be respectful to the art level of the class. We also offer private groups for older kids who want to choose their own cirlcle of friends and specific art style to do. Email us at hello@bloomingacescc.com.
Will you offer a different time for your art classes?
Yes, we will take time request but we do need minimum 6 students to open up a new time slot for our classes. Email us at hello@bloomingacescc.com with subject matter: TIME REQUEST FOR ART CLASS.
How do I use Zoom?
Go to Zoom.us website and sign up for a free account with our email address. Zoom will then send you a confirmation link to your email. You need to go back to your email to confirm the set up. Save your login credentials for the day of the class. Before class starts, please login to your account. You will receive Zoom link via email from hello@bloomingacescc.com around 10:45am PST (If you are in USA, California time zone). To join the class, you need to click the link at 10:40am PST and turn on your audio and video. That's it! You will see your virtual class and meet your teacher. If you have any questions or trouble right before the class, please text us your name to 626.622.9093.
If I already have a Zoom account, do I need to sign up for a new account?
No, you can use your current Zoom account. The only reason you might need a new account is if your kid needs to login on his own without you being there.
Can I pay earlier than 1 day before class to reserve my space?
Yes, we actually recommend that to ensure you are enrolled. We close the class once we hit 12 students.
To book private class, when do I need to pay the $180?
As soon as you know a good date, text us with proposed date to 626.622.9093. Our Art Instructor will check her schedule and confirm if she is available on the time you requested. Once she confirms, you need to pay the $180 payment to reserve that time slot. We do not provide refund. However, we understand that sometimes things came up. We allow rescheduling as long as you email or text us 7 days before your private class, to allow us to let someone else take your slot. If you advise later than the 7 days before your private class, we have to charge you $50 inconvenience fee. You can still reschedule and need to check our instructor's availability again. You will need to pay that $50 extra fee before we can book a new date.
Once I paid, and something came up and I won't make it to class, will I lose the deposit?
We allow you to miss 1 class without penalty and you can reschedule for another class. However, you will lose your deposit if you missed the second rescheduled class. The reason is because we are trying to maintain our class quality by keeping the group small. Once we received your deposit, you got the first priority of space and we may turn away other students. We will put some new students on waitlist in case someone dropped out at the last minute. When that happens, you might be in luck and we won't penalize you.
Can I get a video replay link of the class?
Yes, we can provide the video replay link after each class upon your request. We encourage you to ask prior to class because we may not record every class, depending on each of our student's approval to record.
Will there be any homework after the class?
We will assign optional art homework for our students who want to continue having their creative juices flowing. The homework is not mandatory although we encourage them to do it and we allow them to share it during the next class.
My class is tomorrow but I couldn't get my art supplies in time, what should I do?
